Dems won't be winning big in the midterm elections. Please stop hanging on to this ambiguous future hope and take aggressive action starting today.
It's delusional. People are delusional in the US thinking simply voting will fix things. The system has been rigged historically and will be significantly rigged in the upcoming elections, if we even have one. Mail in voting is already being taken over too.
Simply voting and peaceful protest is not enough to change the current trajectory. I'd love to be wrong but I don't think I am.
Fuck this place so much. I really hope when I can leave in about a year that it is even still possible.
I will gladly work my ass off and contribute taxes and community good will and everything to practically anywhere but this shithole.
