Depends on why you want to learn the language. I'd say mandarin could be very useful to know for future employment prospects.

He's been doing it a lot lately, it's so absurd...

That's actually really good to hear! Hopefully less people are left behind because of the dumb way we would teach things.

I'm sort of like this especially when it comes to math, but mostly because my memory is shit.

I can't just memorize a formula, I need to know how something works and then I can work out what i need to do. The "understanding" is what triggers the memory to stick, not the need to remember "you need to use x+y-65bm(y+ba)/gap+5-13 when you have a problem involving bears." I'll never just remember that. I basically always barely passed my math classes in highschool...

So I never studied science and never followed my passions and am now in a factory lol stupid memory...

Ahhh the Wii... I'm always reminded of a story I have about playing Wii sports. I had just gotten the Wii fairly recently and played the shit out of Wii sports, I would really get into swinging like I was actually trying to hit something. I worked at a restaurant at the time and was standing by the door to the kitchen talking to a coworker about how I couldn't believe how sore I got myself and just as my manager is walking out from the kitchen I say "even my ass is sore!" and the manager just gives me this look like "wtf!?"

Ahh the Wii. Fun times. Lol

And since the plane gets transferred to Trump's actual ownership after his term, Trump gets a free $2billion plane..

It was fun for a time when their API access was free so some game developers put llms into their games. I liked being able to communicate with my ships computer, but quickly saw how flawed it was.

"Computer, can you tell me what system we're in?"

"Sure, we're in the Goober system."

"But my map says we're in Tweedledum."

"Well it appears that your map is wrong." Lol

I'm much more concerned about the future when "AGI" is actually useful and implemented into society. "We" (the ownership class) cannot accept anything other than the standard form of ownership. Those that created the AGI own the AGI and "rent" it to those that will "employ" the AGI. Pair that with more capable robotics being currently developed and there will be very little need for people to work most jobs. Because of the concept of ownership we will not let go of, if you can afford to live then you just die. There will be no "redistribution" to help those who cannot find work. We will start hearing more and more about "we don't need so many people, X billion is too many. There isn't enough work for them to support themselves." Not a fun future...

Damn that's not great to hear. I have to stand all day, I don't have much of an option lol

My coworkers say "welcome home" when we start the day... We talk about our time away from the shop as if it were just a quick run to do errands before returning "home."

I used to work as a refrigeration technician and when I first started I was working with an old Russian dude who had no filter. We'd walk into a store and he'd ask the owner "ok so what's the problem?" and if they ever said "the machine isn't working." he'd immediately reply with "no shit man, I wouldn't be here if it was working..." Lol
