You could keep the chain going and pass it down to somebody else?

If you have any old hardware/laptop laying around then use that until you nail down what you actually want to do and need.

My goal this year is to finish off all the games I've left hanging so Pikmin is my first one on the Switch list. I've started all 4 but I'll at least complete them in order ~~eventually~~ :D

I would start by adding a couple more indexers but don't go overboard. 3 or 4 should be good and then swap them out as needed. Also something to note is make sure you aren't just "hit n run" on everything and seed properly.
