Let's just have a primary without the DNC's finger on the scale, and see how it shakes out.

Now that the Dems won EVERYTHING, by WIDE margins, it is clear that the Dems have the upper hand. Here's what they should do now with the power they just took back:
-
Double down on the shutdown, and demand even more concessions. Nothing less than full compliance will be sufficient. Otherwise, we'll see where we are a year from now.
-
Adopt a true progressive agenda. What happened to these MAGA Traitors is going to happen to MAGA-appeasing Democrats, too.
-
Primary every weak Democrat - Schmuck Schumer, Jeffries, etc. They are almost as much the enemy as MAGA. If they lose, we get stronger, and if they win, they'll know they dodged a bullet, and they better get with the new PROGRESSIVE program.
-
Force their hand on everything. Make them reject even reasonable Democratic and Progressive demands. Don't let them off the hook for anything, then use it against them viciously in the Midterms.
"We promise that we will never do it again (with the cameras on)."
"How are we supposed to defend ourselves if you have all that evidence against us? It isn't fair!"
Jews who defend Israel's Gaza Genocide are doing more to spread anti-Semitism than anything since WWII.
It's absolutely shameless, they don't care how transparent their accusations are.
And you just offered an excuse to do nothing in the face of relentless abuse.
You? You think you are important enough to make me angry in life over YOU?
THAT is your entire problem - you think you are important. YOU. ARE. NOT. You were raised to be a princess, with everyone kissing your ass. in your little bubble universe, everything revolves around you.
Now you are in the real world, and finding out that NOBODY cares about you. In fact, most will see a person like you as in their way. The first rule of life is to either learn how to get along, or you will be trampled by many, many people who will not indulge your narcissistic nonsense at all.
Grow Up.
As a business owner, I can even predict the immediate outcome of rejecting OP. They would come to me, and say "Why did they get the job? I thought it was mine."
"Well, you indicated that if you took the job, you wouldn't be able to work with members of the team, so we chose someone who could. Maybe you'll be a better fit for the next one." And then they'd never be offered another promotion.
Ultimatums like "It's them or me," seldom work out well for the issuer.
There's always been facial rec. In the old days, they recognized that "He looks black, that can't be his car."
We can wear masks, too...for health reasons. I predict an increase in germaphobes.
Imagine if they actually try to ban medical face masks, not for some cockamamie pseudoscience reason, but because we don't have the right to evade their facial recognition scheme?
Competence is so rare in modern politics, that just doing what you're supposed to do is seen as extraordinary.
