According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics in the 12 months to June 2024, the net immigration number was 446k. That’s over 1200 people a day. They’ve increased migration since last June, so an increase to 1500 a day is easily possible. In fact from June 2023-2024 the ABS says the net migration figure was 536,000. Know how many a day that is? 1,468. So it was 1500 a day in 2023-2024 but it’s “racist propaganda” to say it is or could be 1500 a day in 2025?

The “neo Nazis” were told to fuck off in most of the marches, actually. No one wanted them there. I believe it was only the Sydney one that let one of them speak, and the organisers were rightly derided for doing so.
Just because some bad people try to co-opt something it doesn’t mean that they were bad people protests. The overwhelming majority of people there were there for the stated reasons, none of which were racist or “neo nazi”.
I’m sure it’s fine, but I much prefer my 75”. 36” would be way too small in my game room.

I don’t think the other 98% of phone buyers even know what resolution their phone screen is, nor do they care.
None of them are fixed by closing the border, and that’s not what anyone is suggesting. By closing the border you stop the problem from getting worse and worse. This allows you to start addressing the problems much easier. It’s like plugging the hole in a sinking boat before grabbing the bucket versus just trying to empty it with a bucket while the hole is still there.
If we keep bringing in more people, the housing availability crisis keeps getting worse since there are more and more people looking for houses - to the tune of 1500 a day.
