Why would they draw it out for months/years? If they're going to have everyone sanctioning them and shouting "Genocide!" at them, they'd just get it over and done with and move on. Drawing it out over months/years would just make it worse for them. It makes no sense.
You want it to be a genocide. You're looking for articles that support your view. You're looking for "facts" that support your view.
