This is why Pull Requests and approvals exist though. If I am reviewing a PR and it takes 400 lines of code to do something that should be 25 lines, I’ll pick that up in my review, leave feedback, and send it back.
The other problem is idiots (who tend to pretend they’re experts and the only ones who understand what AI is) that don’t understand that AI is a tool to be used, and don’t realise that people who are actually good at their job are able to figure out how to use it properly to benefit them. They think because an idiot uses it incorrectly, that that’s the only way to use it.
Well, yeah. Saying you should be competent at your job isn’t “elitism”. It’s like how someone can write some code by copy pasting from stack exchange, but not know how or why it works and it might not be well written. That’s no different to using AI and not knowing how or why it works and it might not be well written.
AI is a tool. The AI haters like yourself need to understand this, instead of thinking it’s a person.
You honestly think windows hasn’t added any new functionality over the last 20 or so years? What specific functionality have they supposedly removed?
I’m curious why you think someone who entered the country illegally deserves a “fair trial” before being deported when they’re in the country illegally?
They don’t play ads on Google home/nest devices like this says Amazon do.
I would know if my Google home hubs played ads on them.
Most of them have already had a “fair trial”/warrant/etc and been ordered to leave, and just…..didn’t.
You think “actual tech nerds” don’t like smart devices? I don’t think you know what a “tech nerd” is.
Google is NOT going to be any better at this
What are you talking about? Google Home devices have been out for like a decade at this point, they don’t play ads on them.
A link to a tiny blog post that just says someone wrote a book about being afraid of AI, and you should check it out?
Spam, no thanks.
You think it’s easy to steal someone fingerprint or iris in a way that will work on scanners?
How?
They make them for both teams in advance so, no matter who wins, they can have it on sale immediately, and have the players put it on immediately.
The losing teams merch usually gets destroyed.
