I’ve done lots of work for some big charities, and they’re rotten to the core in terms of how much money actually goes to the cause vs how much is spent on “administration” etc.
Whether they’re effective or not isn’t the point? It should be lol. It’s not when it’s just virtue signalling protesting, and that’s the problem.
The simple minded idiots are the protesters turning everyone against them.
Whenever you’re browsing even a semi popular website these days there’s probably a 98% chance you’re hitting a cloudflare cached version of it. Have you been asleep the last 10 years?
Cloudflare definitely can and does stop the vast majority of actual professional bad guys.
Or protest where it affects the people you’re protesting to get attention of - at parliament, at the government offices, etc. Not where you’re just pissing regular people off and hurting your own cause.
What on earth does anyone’s opinions on a march have to do with the topic at hand?
People absolutely do earn a billion dollars. If you “abolish” billionaires you abolish the drive, determination, innovation etc that creates billionaires who have made some of the most world changing things in history.
My suggestion? Of letting people protest?
It’s definitely not propaganda. Our government can’t find where tens of billions of dollars went lol. Our government is far, far more wasteful than private business is. It’s virtually impossible to get fired from a government job these days. Losing millions of dollars won’t even do it.
