These days, people video tape everything. Hopefully something will soon be revealed that shows exactly what happened. Even then, it won't matter to some, but it will help.

Germany most recently. As far as I can see, it's due to the rise in nationalism and anti-immigration policies. It's absolutely terrible to watch especially knowing what's going to happen to most of those people being forced back...

Had to look up several articles to better understand the shortage and it is still not entirely clear to me. Seems to be numerous factors all affecting Japan at the same time. I don't envy them. increased prices in staple foods is really hard.

I suppose the quotation marks are pretty loaded these days...

But honestly, when you've lived on the other side of things... as bad as it gets in the "West"... many people will still sacrifice everything to make their way there, where a better life might be found... even if many of those countries are actively trying to keep immigrants out... 🫤

And nothing will be done.

I'm so tired, just trying to keep up.

I don't know how any Gazans can bear to live under this.

They need help. They need hope.

How long must this continue? How long will the "free world" continue to allow this?

😫

I hear that welcoming migrants is a great way to address this problem...
