The problem is that there is a recruiter as a middleman. This would be a lot easier if there wasn't a third party fiscally interested in this.

I've been consulting with HR. They've come to the conclusion that the applicant probably isn't able to work. I'm just trying to wind this down.
Yeah, I am hiring. I edited this.
My issue is trying to unwind this as humanely as possible for the applicant.
We were going to hire them, but they can't show proof of working in the country.
And since I recommended that they get hired and they can't show the right paperwork, it is becoming my job on how I should proceed.
Edit: Yeah, I was the one interviewing.
Uber Eats has it easy. It is a problem for the USPS and delivery companies, including Amazon.

It is generally considered a power imbalance in a relationship benefitting the older person. The older person can define parts of a relationship as being normal while the younger person doesn't have the life experience to know if that is the case.
For instance, in your case, we would expect your girlfriend to still be in high school while you would either be graduating college this year or already had graduated college. In an American's point of view, that is a large gap in life experience.
They've had a lot of skirmishes in the past and haven't nuked each other yet.
I was labeled as gifted growing up, part of it being I was the smartest kid in the classroom in a lot of my classes. That generally meant that no one really celebrated if I did well academically since it was expected. It was really only a celebration if someone beat me. So I never got used to celebrating what I did since it would just piss people off.
My mom would also usually claim my accomplishments as her own since she raised me and my success was due, in large part, to her.
So I got used to not getting a sense of accomplishment when I accomplished something.
Moving out days are a great way to get cheap furniture. Troll apartment buildings at the end of the month and you can usually find some furniture getting thrown out. I still have some dumpster pieces that are in good condition.
