3 to 6 months but in my work I look to do something in the first week and something of significance in the first month. The reason I give a range is because I want to be able to list a major accomplishment, initiative, etc that I helped make happen and that usually should come about by 6 months. So like my last job was 4 years but it had three major arcs that have a fair amount of initiatives and accomplishments in them (especially the middle arc which was a big project)

I found the ladders that can turn into scaffolds to be of immense use. Also start going to every yard, estate, and garage sale you can find as there are often tools and ladders and all sorts of stuff being sold cheap.

Its like the way realtors used to be. Keep in mind that ideally they want to connect the best fit for the job to the employer which is also good for the job hunter and although its up to the job hunter to only take adequate compensation it is in the interests of the employer to not lose employees due to low compensation (although im not sure if any employers are still doing those calculations). I was just thinking this is a good example of people who fear ai. If AI can't sift through and find the best employee for a position out of the posted online resumes then its not going to eat all the lunches.

As wealth inequality increases the line for who matters at the top gets smaller. At this point the top 1% controls 50% globally so on a global scale if your not in that 1% you don't matter. But like in the us its 2% so that is what it takes to be in the in crowd. In europe its 10% to be in. As wealth inequality gets worse those who previously benefited from slanted playing fields will find they fell down to the bad side of the board and they will be a major source of sucking for the top to increase their wealth expansion.

Early religion and ritual developed around birth and death and likely day to day essential activities. We came from a scavenger back ground but our tool use became weapons and we started to hunt. Over time we more and more intentionally started to plant seeds and keep animals which became farming. This lead to our species becoming less nomadic and as we started to stay in one location we started creating more robust shelter and infrastructure which lead cities and tribes becoming states. Earliest large ones we know are out of the middle east but kinda expanded west. Sumer to babylon to egypt. Then north. greek - roman. Expansion continued with a bunch of stuff in asia and europe and in between and surprisingly trade managed to flow across the known world while on the other side of the world in america you had a lot of folks sorta leading simpler lives but there was the inca empire.
