Permanent storage. Like the Wayback massive and internet archive I hope will fully take advantage of these. As well as project Gutenberg. So much else. I've been waiting for something like this for a long time

There are many many good reasons for developing the technology. It's so bleeding edge though only some people will try it. Billionaires who don't need to ask anyone else are some of the most likely people to be doing this.

But there have already been incredible strides made with some of the projects that have had human trials.

Where I think we all need to really put them under the spotlight is what do they do for the people who got these when the companies shit the bed? Whomever gets this tech needs to be taken care of. This isn't something they should be allowed to walk away from if they don't like the direction the research takes or if they just decide they no longer want to develop it. And think that line of responsibility is exactly at human trials .

If they start, they shouldn't be allowed to stop.

Okay everyone, I'm intensely drunk so keep that caveat in mind.

"They say my life styyyyyle, is bad for my heaaalth

I'm a lost cause...

I'm so damaged beyond repair.

You have shattered my hopes..my dreams"

Apologies if the formatting is fucked. I tried.

I'm a lost cause.

Baby do r waste your time on me

I was going in a different direction myself. More in the vane of offering the leopard a second meal

You should probably start lieing about that and taint the brand as much as possible. Probably won't do much but we should all just start saying everywhere that is a great thing because crucial sucked anyways.

No but I do hold onto old electronics because I grew up with my grandparents and they had WW2 wartime rationing mentality about saving everything. Also my grandfather also an incredibly cheap bastards at times too

Not sure that leopards will be having a glorious meal is the appropriate symbolism but feel free to give me a better one

I might upgrade to GabeCube from my current rig i7 6820k from 10 years ago, but still a year or 2 away from replacing this rig.

I also hope my RAM survives. Good luck friend! This rando from Lemmy wishes you the best (if I win a lottery I'll buy you a new rig!)

I've always had shitty luck with Kingston usb drive, just assumed I would have as many problems with their other memory so avoided them. Maybe I shouldn't have, but I've had the same dd4 crucial ballistix ddr4 ram for about 10 years now and have had zero problems with it

Henry Rollins would be shaking his head at your lack of understanding

Didn't they also heavily develop a lithium extraction industry in the last decade or so?
