Or NixOS if you want both Debian's stability and Arch's rolling releases.

I bet this will be removed soon.

First of all, Android is an operating system, and Linux is a kernel. OS ≠ Kernel.

Second of all, it's not even the generic Linux Kernel. It is heavily modified by Google LLC.

Why not just stick with Proton VPN or Mullvad? There's nothing wrong with them.

I agree, it has uses but they're pretty niche. When I talked about how it's unnecessary for people, I meant normal people who don't have such niche needs or objective.

It is a brilliant tool only if it's used correctly.

Please leave Privacy@lemmy.ml if that's actually what you think.

"Oh, the kids can't consent so we'll just go ahead and do what we like. We are adults, we always know what's right for them and we care for them so much."

It's crazy to me how much taking consent from a minor before doing anything to them is neglected, as if they do not have a brain at all but the second they turn 18, they should understand everything and be responsible and are also expected to follow what society wants them to do. Just because someone is a minor, doesn't mean you can do anything to them because "they're a minor" and "you are an adult."

Consent matters even if the person is a minor.

That sounds very dystopian to me. Have we humans reached such a low that we need to be reminded of the person's name we are talking to even though we've met them before or business relationships, or what we talked with them?

The glasses I wear everyday which do not contain any kind of electronics already does its job perfectly. Smart Glasses are an unnecessary extra, created merely due to the rise of trend of 'en-smartify every product and implement it with unnecessary electronics and spyware.'

I would've blocked this person immediately. I would hate anyone uploading my picture on the internet without my consent and also manipulating the image.
