Apart from getting tasks done faster.

Ultimately the litmus being AI or not is stupid. The test is the same test weve always had. Is it good.

If its bad, rate it shit and move on.

You can make good shit with AI if you actually review what its done, understand it and tweak it. Its a force multiplier not a replacement for your own lack of skill.

I mean it is a skill, just not an enormously valuable one.

Its a bit like knowing how to use Microsoft Office. Good to have but not the basis for a hire.

Complicated multi-variable problems were never easy to Google.

Possible, if you were prepared to put some time in, but still not easy.

That you can explain several paragraphs of the details of a problem as a prompt and get a decent answer is a definitive upgrade.

I see the argument it will reduce peoples research abilities, but thats an education problem.
