That's exactly what happens in reddit though? If you have too many users and too few admins you have things like karma minimums and bot mods, I haven't had any trouble commenting as a new user on discourse, so I find your experience a bit weird.

Yes? But I mean I would like sites like Discord and Twitter to sort discussions like that.

Discourse Moderation System — assigns user privileges based on five trust levels (0 to 4), where new users start at level 0 with limited abilities and, as they gain experience and participation, they progressively earn more rights to moderate and contribute, with level 4 users having nearly full community moderation powers short of staff status.

I'm sure there are countless apps out there that are incredibly cool, interesting, or useful, but just haven't hit the mainstream yet. Maybe it's a productivity tool that's boosted your efficiency, a unique game that's kept you entertained for hours, or a niche app that's catered perfectly to one of your hobbies or interests.

What are some Android hidden gem apps that you've used a bunch or think it's really cool/interesting/useful?

Please share your recommendations, and if possible, a brief description of what the app does and why you find it so valuable.

I use different web interfaces to access Gmail, Hotmail, ProtonMail, Disroot, etc. However, I would like to use a single client to receive all my emails. Which desktop programs would you recommend for Linux, and which apps would you recommend for Android? I need them to support all of these email boxes. From what I've read around here, most people recommend Thunderbird for Linux, Mutt for power users, and K-9 Mail for Android. However, the first thing I noticed when opening K-9 Mail is that it doesn't support Hotmail accounts.

In Star Wars Rebels, there was an E-XD-series infiltrator droid that could quickly take inventory of everything in a Rebel warehouse. With the advanced object recognition capabilities of modern AI, it’s only a matter of time before an app for Android can accurately and rapidly identify and store objects in real-time from video capture. This could be similar to a home inventory app where users only need to capture video and move around the house instead of taking pictures and labeling items. When do you think such an app will become available? Also, what is the closest app available right now?

edit: I didn't say offline or on-device, I don't know why everyone assumes that. I mean a service offered through an Android app.
