Just to clarify a few things from other comments. SMS MFA is still leagues above not having MFA for security. It's not great but it will protect you in like 80% of cases where you would've been hacked if you didn't have MFA at all. The primary problem with services that require any additional data from you though is that is an additional source for a leak. The same thing goes for name, address, phone number, etc. Phone numbers can be added to scam call lists which open you up to additional breach opportunities in the future, SIM swapping attacks, or even just using it as a number to spoof for other attacks. For most accounts that I don't care about I would be reluctant to give my number as for those sites I value privacy over security, but that's a separate discussion.

There are also State taxes that aren't normally differentiated from when complaining about tax rates even though they go to different places. In some states it's pretty much the same things.

My favorite windows shortcut is 'Windows+shift+left/right' to move an application between monitors. Very helpful for moving games around or snapping without have to use a mouse.

Completely agree and it doesn't help that it's an ever moving goalpost. I feel like most people understand that as long as you are acting in good faith it's all fine.

I think you are the only one to correctly state that one can be true without the other making them not synonymous and I appreciate it.

It's minor but I probably wouldn't say supposed to have sounds like they are wrong

Thank you for the links! There's definitely some variability in how the questions are asked, and obviously polling bias (though those could go either way), but this is still way higher than any of the polls I had seen. I appreciate you taking the time to find them for me.

Would you mind sharing those polls? I haven't seen any that high

The way they word the contrast between Canadians and Americans is extremely biased."9 percent of Canadians believe they will become the 51st state", not that they want to, just that they believe it will happen. While "30 percent of Americans would like their state to become part of Canada". If you asked the Canadians if they want to become US state I guarantee it would be lower
