I kind of got your frustration, I also would love for more options in the marcher for “steam machine-like” consumer hardware, almost like a “console” version of the steam machine.

Fair point, but a more “unhinged” text also don’t bring the discussion that I want to have in the piefed/lemmy… so I need to choose for the boring, unhinged or comedic text.
My natural words goes harder on the acid and sarcastic wording, if I tone down I can get on the “comedic” flair, which in my humble view, is sightly pleasant to read.
But if the few words were enough for us to get here and start the conversation, the text already proved its worth.
Heavily coupled code with a lot of duplication of code. These are the main points of the refactor.
There is some lack of "smart" use of the JS, like the positional arguments instead of objects (for quick fix/change), no separation of concerns, there is something lightly there, but lacks the gross thing.
While one reader goes on the
"[...] Are you using AI? Then stop, you won’t learn [...]"
someone else understood my feeling towards it. Thanks for the kind words.
What aspect of the chimera? Like the mythological way? Or this is closer to the "parts of everything touching"?
Hahahaha
That's a pretty accurate description on most of the wrong parts :D
Are you using AI? Then stop, you won’t learn.
The problem isn't the lack of usage, but how to use, and this is a learning point in it.
“the cards moved like they were sedated,” that’s literally the only requirement in a card game, don’t release anything if it’s broken.
I only notice that this would be a problem after having the alpha testing with my close friends and some other people. Also, there is logs and other tools for the understading on what is happening on the project.
Where is the source code?
I think I left the source somewhere in the original post, this is closer to a self evaluation on the ideas and concepts used.
I would disagree with you. But I don’t have the time or mental capacity to discuss on the topic.
He is so deep in his own little world that he can't even imagine the existence of anything outside the read of his nose. This was one of the worse takes and posts I ever read. I want my time back.
I decided to look who is the author. He is a fucking “ex-Instagram” engineer, already a shitty thing, he loves subscription while holding a company that benefits from this type of source. Again shitty. While he centralizes in him (and probably fucking some federated options), instead of focusing on the federated approach. Like usual from an imperialist and bulshitter, he does have something to sell with this post. Shitty person.
This is one of the worst articles I’ve ever read. The author’s level of stupidity makes me regret the time I spent reading it.
He’s so deeply entrenched in his own ignorance that he can’t see the signs of the broken system, the concentration of wealth, the erosion of privacy, and the loss of control over our data. Of course, he also overlooks piracy.
His errors are so numerous and profound that any attempt to engage in a meaningful discussion would require him to come out of his stupor.
This was a pretty awesome read. Thanks for sharing.
