Cancer can return after going into remission for a while.

Periodically, yes.

...I'll show myself out.

There they say that it’s not yet ready to be used in evidence, but the problem with that is that most forensic “science” is generally misapplied and nowhere near as conclusive as the police want us to think.

This is such an important thing to remember. It's just like how a lot of hand-held breathalyzers are closed source, and when their source code is finally subjected to scrutiny (because you're supposed to be able to face your accuser, and the device is your accuser), it often doesn't meet basic required standards for things like error reporting or failsafes to prevent false positives.

Much of forensic "science" isn't exactly science as we understand it.

I'm in the desert so I can't comment because my environment is biased towards being dry anyway.

By my math I average 15.26 comments a day (9674 comments / 634 days), which I would say is a good deal of commenting on Lemmy on a per-day basis.

My name is Snot Flickerman and I am a serial commenter. If you see me around be nice to me and pity me for my problem. If I annoy you I don't know what to tell you.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_Internet_connection_speeds

07. United States 274.16 Mbit/s

19. Japan 212.06 Mbit/s

According to this page, seemingly sourced from Ookla, US has way higher average speeds these days.

Japan had way faster internet on average than the US like twenty years ago, but the US actually did a decent amount of broadband growth even if it still doesn't cover rural areas well.

Pixel 6a users got a big change to their battery life, on the other hand.

... But gone are the days where the back of the phone pops off using only your thumb and you can just swap batteries.

The ol' Dirty Sanchez

👆

The best suggestion anyone could give here is to seek out professional help because this question is way way way too big and serious for the likes of Lemmy.

My internal monologue adopts whatever voice end accent fits the situation and what I am thinking about. Otherwise it is mostly ethereal and has no sound unless I think about it and give it a "voice."
