I never said owning a home makes you rich but most people don’t go into owning a home without building in maintenance costs. If you can’t afford $40 a month, what happens when an appliance breaks, or there is an HVAC or plumbing issue?

You bought a house but can’t afford $40 a month? That’s so reasonable.

You have no idea whether they got severance or not. Most tech companies do give it out for layoffs.

Also the WARN act already mandates that companies with 100+ people have to give 60 days notice for layoffs.

Doesn’t make the company evil. Should they employ him for 50 years just because he needs a job? Use ur brain.

I got banned for suggested someone stab a can with a knife to open it (they didn’t have a can opener). They said I was promoting violence. I appealed and a human still banned me for that. What a crock lol

MANY companies aren’t profitable for several years. The one I work at wasn’t for 2 decades. It’s a long game.

Because we have or had a relatively free market that attracts talent and isn’t overly burdensome to operate a business in.

Pretty sure this is already a thing everywhere.

It’s just for attention so he can stay relevant and OP just played into it.
