I’m on Jellyfin with Books plug-in

I was able to run Kavita but I have to start the .exe everytime I restart my computer. As I understand it there’s a way to make it run automatically

I’ve only run Kavita as a program that I have to start to access on my network.

I know docker by name but I’m not exactly sure how I could use it with Kavita

So I’ve tried Jellyfin Book plug-in but since it doesn’t allow pinch-to-zoom (at least on my phone’s app) that will not work for me

I’ve already thinker with Kavita so I’ll probably be ok for the first install.

My problem come when I want to run it in the background (as a client ?) at this point I’m completely lost

And/or use for stem cell research

It’s the thing in the corner of your flat, that’s where you put plants or book you’ll say you’ll read but you will not

Personally I’m more on the [Charles E. Caouette ]specialist side. Kids are not good or bad, they’re asshole because they don’t know better.

I’ve read a really interesting treaty of anthropology on kid a while back. It was written like a « how to parent book ». TL;DR there’s two opposing-ish view to parenting kid 1- kids are inerrantly good, because they come from god and blah blah blah (most westerners countries) 2- kids are inerrantly evil (devil pawn) and parent have to make them learn restraint (IIRC middle eastern countries)

On a purely pedagogic note a Canadian specialist have said : L’enfant n’est pas là pour faire notre affaire, il est là pour solliciter notre intervention en vue de l’aider à être et à devenir ce qu’il veut être. [Kids are not there to do our biding, they’re here to solicit our intervention to help them become what they want to be]

Because Devs will have the managers on their ass from now on.

Does the guy (at Wired ?) that bought a Trump Phone got his phone finally ?

So I recently-ish upload ST: Deep Space 9 into my Jellyfin (kind of love falling asleep watching it) and some episodes are doubled.

For example in season 4 Jellyfin fetched the metadata for the episode 9 (our men Bashir) and put it on the episode 9 and 10. Now after 10 the episodes are sync on the one before them. It slightly annoying.

I checked the naming convention for the file, seems in order. Tried to refresh the metadata, to no avail. Reboot the server, didn’t work. Only permit Jellyfin to fetch metadata from IMDB, nope

I’m at lost, any idea ?

Edit : what worked was putting [imdbid-ttXXXXX] in the problematic files name and refreshing all the metadata for the folder, in my case all the series

What’s your go too (secure) method for casting over the internet with a Jellyfin server.

I’m wondering what to use and I’m pretty beginner at this
