You do not, in fact, have to hand it to him?

You don't have to praise the "fair" and "just capitalism" qualities of 99% Hitler when you can choose 0% Hitler.

I'll change my statement: Iraq, not Iran. Will you change yours: Dario is a warmonger who wants to enable Trump and Hegseth and continued to do so? You didn't contest that.

Finally, some article points out the obvious: that Anthropic has been jockeying for fully autonomous weapons the entire time.

Partially autonomous weapons... are vital to the defense of democracy. Fully autonomous weapons (those that take humans out of the loop entirely and automate selecting and engaging targets) may prove critical for our national defense. We have offered to work directly with the Department of War on R&D to improve the reliability of these systems.

Our strong preference is to continue to serve the Department and our warfighters.

Dario Amodei prides himself on being complicit:

Anthropic understands that the Department of War, not private companies, makes military decisions. We have never raised objections to particular military operations nor attempted to limit use of our technology in an ad hoc manner.

He believes he has a perfect track record with the Pentagon.

To the best of our knowledge, these exceptions have not affected a single government mission to date.

And he is apparently on the side of every American military action, from bombing fishermen to bombing Iran.

Anthropic has supported American warfighters since June 2024 and has every intention of continuing to do so.

Okay, so you agree Altman is a liar, but Dario is too busy to call him out? Warmonger Dario Amodei has had days.

Dario is too busy glazing Pete Hegseth's war machine.

To the best of our knowledge, these exceptions have not affected a single government mission to date.

And Dario Amodei is too busy supporting Pete Hegseth's attacks, like on Venezuelan fishermen.

Anthropic has supported American warfighters since June 2024....

Dario supports this.

...and has every intention of continuing to do so.

So I guess this includes the Iran invasion. Dario craves blood.

Okay, so listen.

OpenAI claims they have the same standards as Anthropic. OpenAI signed the deal, even reiterated they have the same joke of "red lines."

Can you show me the difference between the old contract and the new one? Because if you can't, you're making assumptions.

Presuming your making assumptions, riddle me this: is Sam Altman a liar?

Presuming Sam Altman isn't a liar: Why isn't pro-war Dario Amodei calling him on it?

Okay, so you're just a straight up "right-wing" warmonger yourself.

What's wrong with drones?

Jesus Christ.

They had a contract with the Pentagon. They literally deal with military operations on a regular basis.

Cool Trump apologia.

And you can only build so many of those radiator panels before you start running into congestion problems. You don't want them radiating onto each other.

Show me where the contracts differ. OpenAI says they don't. Unless Dario Amodei speaks up, why assume they do?

I've shown you plenty of stuff that should make you hate Dario Amodei. Unless you support the current state of the US military as much as he does, I don't know why you are defending the pro-Trump pro-war suckup.

It makes sense that if you're trying to create a word predictor, and that predictor generates a weighted average of every connection between words (based on as much text as they can find, pulled across the entire internet), then the word predictor would gravitate towards the generic. And if multiple companies target the same data and probably steal from each other, the output will look the same.

This made me laugh though:

Not only do individual models repeatedly generate similar content, but different model sizes and families also produce highly repetitive outputs, sometimes sharing substantial phrase overlaps.

Consider me shocked that if you further collapse the average, it'll look similarly average.

Great callout.

They're ripping off the name of a legitimate news/tech site, It's FOSS, which is not hosted on a Gitlab Pages site!

According to OpenAI, there is no difference between the old contract and the new contract.

And if you read Dario Amodei's actual words, he says his preference is to continue working with the Department of "War" and America's "Warfighters." You don't have to defend a man who is this evil, and this much of pro-war Trump suckup.

If you aren't familiar with his actual stance, you have been told a warped version of Warfighter Dario's vision. I can't blame you because the media is complicit, and everybody loves a story of good guy versus bad guy, but this is the reality:

Partially autonomous weapons, like those used today in Ukraine, are vital to the defense of democracy.
