Matrix doesn't have the host of bots that discord has though, so it's going to be a long time before discord actually gets shitty enough to force people to leave.

Can you explain what the significance of the notch is?

Most companies I've worked for, from union to mom and pop, pay for your drive time. Unless you're in a very small company, in which case you record your mileage and are able to use it for taxes.

If you're in a big city you'll have plenty of work all within a solid 50mile radius. If you're out in the sticks with towns spread out... Youll still have plenty of work but the majority of your day will be driving.

I personally love low voltage, specifically as a service technician. Spend 20 minutes diagnosing a problem, 20 minutes fixing it, and then 30 minutes driving to the next while getting paid the entire time. Take 4 to 7 calls a day and make bank.

I've been doing this for almost 10 years though, and most guys start out as an installer, learning the trade, working at big job sites, and gaining the skills to be able to be a service technician. If you have an aptitude for learning, and care, you'll be better than 75% of your coworkers.

You sure can see plasma cannons though...

Facebook exclusively promoted rage bait and is used as a propaganda machine, if anything they're circumventing a free and open space by not showing you everything in the first place.

If Facebook simply gave you a wall of every single thing pushed and didn't hide/promote things you would have a leg to stand on.

I simply don't, and wouldn't trust Apple. They will tell you they are all about privacy, and happily sell your data behind your back. Just like any other company.

I don't use either of those thankfully:).

Yeah just like Microsoft Recall right? An AI that has access to every single thing you do (and would also be recording, otherwise how does it know "you") can never be private by design. Its literal design is to know everything about you, your actions, and your habits. I wouldn't trust anyone to be able to create an actually secure piece of software that does the above. It will always be able to be stolen/sold/abused.
