How is it any different at all?

  1. i didn't say the officer was perfect, or even good
  2. i didn't say you should tell him what he wants to hear
  3. i didn't say if he murdered anyone, it would be anyone's fault
  4. I believe that all cops are bastards and I believe they are wrong in literally every circumstance they are involved in. I believe there are only two good endings for cops, either they resign or die.

you didn't answer my question, you're so focused on being right that you can't see how wrong you are about pretty much everything you write.

can you explain how showing compassion for someone, is the same as wanting their approval?

do you wanna stop fascism? want to see trump and elon musk lose power?

working class solidarity is the first step

our entire lives, we’ve been tricked and manipulated into fighting among ourselves, because they know if we worked together, we would be able to take them down.

why do you think, every time that something bad happens, there’s all the media spin about who we should blame?

they love to do this for age, think about all the boomers vs. gen X vs. gen Z articles and social media posts you’ve seen

but they do the same shit all the time with different things. their aim is to split the working class into as many splinter groups as possible.

we need to stop letting the assholes in power divide us like this.

unfortunately, that means extending solidarity to people who haven’t earned it, including people who chose to vote for Trump.

most of these people were tricked and manipulated. many of them have been fed a steady diet of misinformation. many of them are proud, insufferable bigots.

but being smugly superior, insulting, rude or intolerant isn’t how we change people’s minds. the best way to do that is by having a two-way conversation.

we are all so busy yelling at eachother. it doesn’t work. we need solidarity.

Democrats will never listen to the left. They are a party by, and for, the ruling class.

I know it feels unlikely that we can achieve change through revolution, but that's how capitalism wins, by making you feel like it is impossible to defeat.

I'm not appealing to authority at all, I was just explaining that I was a leftist because your comment seemed to suggest I was encouraging people to "give up", which is the exact opposite of what I want. I want people to get involved in direct action, civil resistance, and yes, acts of sabotage against the regime.

I am firmly of the opinion that violence never makes anything better, but I completely understand why people, even leftists, advocate for violence. I don't think they're fake, or bots, I just think they are leftists who have been socialised in our mainstream media environment which teaches us that violence is a solution to our problems.

I think your response was a bit silly, and jumped to a lot of conclusions, but it didn't hurt my feelings. I want to continue to reiterate that reforms to capitalism merely prolong it, and misuses the energy of activists which could be far better spent on actually unionizing, organizing, building solidarity, and direct action.

The party will never listen to them, that's the entire point behind my whole argument. Voting isn't going to get us out of this mess. We need to organize the working class, build solidarity, and build a people-powered movement to abolish capitalism.

Here's a scenario. Imagine there's a cop, who just had a divorce.

That cop will, later today, respond to a schizophrenic person in distress. The cop is armed.

You get the opportunity to tell that cop one thing before they go to respond to that call.

You can either say:

"Fuck you, pig scum, I'm glad your wife divorced you, you fucking deserve it, burn in hell"

Or you can say:

"I'm sorry to hear that your wife left you, did she give you any reasons why?"

Which of these responses is more likely to lead to a disabled person getting fucking murdered by an angry cop?

Are you going to use the right wing and centrists acting like shitheads as an excuse to behave that way yourself?
