I think it would work out pretty well, to be honest!

You absolutely can ridicule someone's lack of competence, for sure, because competence isn't an inherent trait. Intelligence and competence aren't really causally linked. Sure, someone with an intellectual disability might not be the world's greatest chess player, for example, but for most people with an intellectual disability, with more than an average amount of practice, they can beat an average player.

I think "tripped over his own dick" is fine, that doesn't suggest to me "he's bad because he has mobility issues", it's more like carelessness.

Remember as well that you don't need to be perfect, nobody is acting or expecting that. All we can all do is try our best and if we hurt people, take accountability and apologise to them. No one always gets it right and it's okay to get it wrong, so long as you're not being stubborn and refusing to change because you don't care about the feelings of others, people will be fine with it!

The ableism is coming from inside the house - it's not a bad thing to be intellectually disabled. The problem with Trump is not that he's stupid, it's that he's a selfish, careless, thoughtless, cruel, ignorant asshole.

Using words like "stupid" as an insult implies that all people lacking in intellect or wisdom are also bad people.

The death toll of capitalism is much, much higher than any of us can imagine. We should aim to have the most peaceful revolution possible, but we also should be realistic, and I know for a fact that the ruling class aren't going to go without a fight. We can starve them out, I believe, for the most part, but yeah, there will definitely be death and suffering, I can't deny that. But a lot of people are dying NOW. And for nothing. We can at least die trying to make a better world. That's something I'm willing to die for.

I'm wondering when the rest of you guys are going to realize that electoralism is a huge waste of time, effort and energy. Elections are a distraction to make us think we can effect change through the system. But the problem IS the system. There is only one way forward, and it's through a revolution that abolishes the entire existing structures of power.

We need to accept this reality, so we can actually start the long process of how to achieve that.

no, i'm not, i'm advocating for solidarity, the exact opposite of what you described.

accelerationism is evil, it's a sacrifice of vulnerable people/groups to try and shock less-vulnerable groups into action. it doesn't work, it has never worked and will never work.

you need solidarity. you need to work towards building it. that means you need to accept that you're not always right and that other people have valuable perspectives.

when there are enough people on our side we will be able to change the system without excessive violence just through withholding our labour.

we need solidarity and we need to take bold action collectively. ignore neoliberals, go throw molotov cocktails at parked cop cars. it's a lot more effective than accelerationism.

i know that, i mean among the working class. tolerance for listening to a friend spouting nazi shit and fascist shit has been pretty low until recently, dogwhistles not withstanding. i mean there's a reason they dogwhistle so much, it's because their views are roundly rejected and they get bullied when they don't hide their beliefs

if that level of hate, aggression, suppression, etc. isn't enough to prevent the rise of fascism, it won't be enough to slow or stop it either. we need different tactics
