I like the idea of it; yet you can’t host private repos. I don’t want to be locked in to GitHub but as someone starting their career it’s important to show that you’re working on stuff. Hence I worry that moving away from GitHub will negatively impact my interviewing prospects.

Roasted whole chicken from grocery; where I’m at they’re $5 and you can make sandwiches for days and or make chicken based soup with the leftovers. Also beans and potatoes. So many things you can make with them. Accent them with cheap bulk spices and some herbs grown with a little cheap desktop hydroponic grower, or outside depending on climate.

All depends on the climate your in, and the insulation of your house. You can build houses which don’t need AC even in hot places by going underground or making earth ships. Yet with traditional construction and insulation in many places AC is almost required. Pretty efficient anyway, just a heat pump.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking. That they were using stalls to do makeup. I supposed I can chock this up to my application of Mens public restroom culture (in the USA) where you try not to make eye contact and avoid one another. This led me to think that crowding around the mirror would be an uncomfortable experience for everyone involved. Hence, the stall being a more private place would be more comfortable with a pocket mirror or something but hey live and learn lmao

I mean you could do separate lines or something for that— but at the same time maybe that just means you need more bathrooms if there is a significant line. Also maybe making a separate powder room would reduce the lines by directing those who want to do make up or something to a different place.

I think you guys are fighting about different things; you need to have a unified definition of grammar.

One is saying that without some rules on how the words relate to one another we couldn’t convey our meaning.

The other is saying that grammar, I think perhaps “proper grammar” is made up by humans, and so doesn’t have any intrinsic worth compared with something else made up by humans.

Both are correct, the important thing is that whichever grammar we collectively decide on. Intrinsically worthless or not, we need to have some unified definition, codified or not, so that we have the necessary degree of specificity for a given situation to transfer information between parties.

I think finding sources for things is good. It doesn’t invalidate the message; there are plenty of photographs of malnourished children in Gaza without CP. Was it internally misleading? I don’t know. But I think we can assume the benefit of the doubt that the writer just chose an image from search results that looked emaciated.

Make it 40-60f all year round with lots of green and rain and mist.

In the US so hopes are up but certainly wont rest on any hypothetical laurels until I show up for the first day— I think that’s the crutch is being sincere without showing how much I desperately want the job— in the interviews I made some good jokes and think I showed my interested were aligned— thank you for the advice!

This is why I always bring whiteboard markers in my backpack haha— that’s a good point trying to seem interested and enthusiastic but not desperate— thanks for your advice!

I hope this is the case— but will try to differentiate if there are other candidates— and hey wouldn’t mind getting to that mythical 4th round if it exists! Thank you for the advice!
