Just to note - or a standalone NAS.

Personally I have two NAS and one older PC ive turned into a NAS, both options work just fine, becomes a question on price/availability and a motherboard that supports the drive quantity you have/want to expand to.

I actually started something yesterday on codeberg. Right now its just a glossary of terms, I haven't had the time to do more than that.

Well crap! Its only in the detailed rules...

I'll take care of that shortly

Edit: There we go, in there now, though I can probably clean that up a bit better to be more clear. I'll address that later though, time to start the work day....

Family is ruined.

Her mom was devastated about her husband killing himself.

She had to deal with the thousands of images generated based off a picture of her at age 11.

There is a lot of harm here.

Hell no.

Copy, paste. Done.

I have a password database that is secure and offline.

Why the hell would I want my browser to store my passwords/session data?

To keep in line with current rules, as this is on the line for a promo post, please take a look at the last two rules and tag appropriately - [CBH] or [AIP]. If you did use AI to develop, rule 8 explains the disclosure, and if you have any questions please ask.

Eh I can just start something, but it'll probably be tomorrow.

In true internet fashion, maybe I'll put some terrible recommendations in and let the fediverse "correct" me. Or I'll just put together a decent list of links :)

Seems like its mostly the android ones... if I could find like a cheap version of the mnt pocket reform, that would be great.

I love that, and would absolutely welcome it.

I actually have a repo at codeberg up where ive started moving the rules and things for public access/visibility, and thought that a wiki could go there (and be easily brought elsewhere if needed without any intervention needed by me).

Even if was just links to resources we could post up, whatever.

I'd be happy to spin up another repo just for wiki use and link it in the sidebar. The big issue is, of course, the content itself, so we will need some folks to contribute.

But if its an interest I can get this started in a few hours (summer sports for the kids, probably not going to be home for more than a few minutes for about.... 4-5 hours)

At this point, what I'm thinking about is not using my phone as more than a phone+hotspot. Anything I want to run will be on a second device with me, which would be for everything else.

What that second device is.... currently up for debate. I was going to build a clamshell style palmtop, but honestly I just don't have the time. Maybe I'll get a PMOS friendly tablet?

One of the various linux, programming, etc communities would be an appropriate fit for this, but this is not about selfhosting and doesn't fit here.
