I have a DARE shirt that says 'Drugs Are Really Expensive' underneath and i feel like thats a more effective deterrent than anything they said in the program.

Why couldn't you just format the entire drive with the linux installer?
Im not trying to diminish your situation at all but i hope you realize how lucky you are. An enormous number of people ha e probably never had 4 months of rent in their bank account at any one time. I hope everything works out for you and you get back on your feet.
You can either run the installer on a windows partition/computer and copy over the entire installed game folder, or if you'd rather not involve windows at all then you can just add the installer as a non steam shortcut through steam or add it to lutris and run it, and then once its installed, change the shortcut to point at the newly installed exe instead of the installer. Super easy.
Yeah the difference is voluntary. If i can choose to donate $50 to help development on an open source project, or be forced to pay $150 to support some fucking corporate enshittification, youre damn sure id rather donate. But the point is no one has to if they don't want to or can't afford it.
He doesnt actually know how to write songs, but in his head he "knows" hes the main character, so he thinks hes gonna get a group of musicians together, start playing some shitty chord, and everything will just fall into place and the bassist and drummer will stsrt playing along with some brilliant ideas of their own that he can take all the credit for because he's the frontman and he started the band.

Yeah this one so much. I think its still amazing and the two seasons can each kinda stand on their own, and still have satisfying endings, but just knowing that they had an entire 5 season arc planned out drives me crazy considering how great that show was.
