If you are flying over water, avoid single engine planes.

ATR72 looks like a twin.

I’ll take my chances. I don’t have enough of a connection to Europe to put full trust in Europe. Maybe if the Netherlands wins euro 2025

Meh. I can’t find a good sub for YouTube and Gmail is my “uh oh did I mess up my email server back”.

I’ve been considering hush mail. I don’t like Europe. I’d rather move to Canadian

As a native speaker and someone who was once fond of langauge, I hate you.

I read your comment a million times and disagreed. I consulted a dictionary for the definition of the noun form of "good", and relectantly agreed. "Dead", "Well", and "Good" are descriptors and not states of being. They are therefore adjectives not nouns.

In the out of context and incomplete quote of Tigger, "Double Guh R". GRRRRRR GRRRRRRR

Who kills someone who dies of natural causes?

[–] hddsx@lemmy.ca 2 points 6 months ago* (last edited 6 months ago)

He’s dead -> he is in the state “dead”

He died -> In the past, he transitioned from life to death

He has died -> Prior to point of reference now, he transitioned from life to death

He had died -> Prior to point of reference in the past, he transitioned from life to death

Edit: After reading another comment about 50 times, and consulting a dictionary, there might be a slight nuance I missed.

"He's dead" may not mean "he is in the state of dead". In this case, dead is an adjective describing "he". Dead is not used in the noun form.
