Your downstream distribution might be a bit better at handling the arch quirks by default, but i guarantee you it doesn't go through the same testing that new Fedora solutions go through before new releases for example. I'm glad you found something that suited you, but for most people, people that will never try to bypass the immutability in the first place, Bazzite is better ootb.

Distribution are basically a bunch of presets, nobara is just fedora with a few gaming defaults, bazzite is immutable fedora, popos is ubuntu... If you can pinpoint the problem you probably could've fixed it in both bazzite and popos without moving around; there's thousands of different pc configurations so ymmv across distros.
