There are a lot of digital effects in that film.

From BBC:

On Tuesday, protests continued unabated. A crowd in Kathmandu torched the headquarters of the Nepali Congress Party, which is part of the governing coalition, and the house of its leader, Sher Bahadur Deuba.

The house of KP Oli - a 73-year-old four-time prime minister who leads the Communist Party - was also set on fire.

Ho hum, comrades…

Those long winter evenings must fly by in Austria. Still, at least it keeps them away from world politics

EDIT: it was bonkers compelling. Well played, northern Aussies. Well played. Especially to the commentator who managed to take it seriously.

10/10 will watch again.

The root cause is people too stupid to live in the real world and not mythology.

It was at a point where if May had lost the vote, a VoNC was threatened by the eurosceptics.

Unpretentious? There was a chance to stop hard Brexit, and the opposition parties called a meeting to organise it. Corbyn flounced out of the room in a huff because some independents were invited. The vote passed. That’s pretentiousness.

There does appear to be some funny business going on.

NHS England has tens of millions of patients. Most patient records are undigitised and must be couriered when patients move to a new area or when specialist care is required.

It’s also a huge, publicly funded service so big data can be crunched to improve outcomes and efficiencies.

Palantir wanted a big system to use as the testbed for its move into healthcare data systems and offered a low bid.

So basically Ukraine is running on Russian oil?

Yeah but how does OP know that their original comments aren’t going to bugger up the data anyway. Flat Earthers for example.

You’ve certainly got confidence in the quality of your contributions.

I never said he didn’t crack codes in the war. I said he didn’t use computers to crack codes.

Bombes aren’t considered computers. They were electro-mechanical machines that didn’t perform calculations. A bombe was basically a replica of 39 enigma machines wired together, and it was used to narrow down the range of possible initial enigma rotor positions, to aid the manual codebreakers in their work.

Turing’s Bombes were a refinement of Marian Rejewski‘a bomba machines, which Poland shared with the Allies in 1939.
