Hi, so I have an ex-friend. Things used to go well with us, she was Korean-American and lesbian and talked a lot about the rights of minorities. She then turned to the “Trump side” and all her friends were conservative queer people who later realized they are or are pretending to be straight.

She cut me and a friend off, as did the rest of her friend group. She was racist towards Latinos and black people and was homophobic, calling herself one of the “good lesbians” and calling gay people “pervert queers”. She then started talking behind our backs according to another friend who later blocked them saying:

“Angel and [friend] made me so uncomfortable”
“Yeah, it’s probably because they’re autistic and weird”
“Yeah that must be it, autistic people make me uncomfortable”

I forgot about that. It is absolutely deplorable, though, you're right

This is coming from a neurodivergent guy. I just don’t get it. I mean, I know it’s probably because we act differently, but WHY EXACTLY do some people decide we’re lesser than neurotypical people?

Genuine question. I feel like there’s too much division and that people should find common ground. I really don’t like the two-party system in the US either.

OK, well, any gender can like yaoi, but I mainly see it with women, which is why I ask. As a straight man, I have tried to get into yaoi but I don’t really find it attractive. Sure, I find it cute, but I don’t find it attractive nor do I find any of the male characters attractive. I recognize that each person will answer differently, but is it the fact that there’s attractive guys in yaoi? The storyline? What exactly?

I will answer as a straight man who finds yuri really cute. I’m a trans man, so I heavily related to yuri when I was a girl and I found it really cute as well. Maybe because I’m not into guys, I don’t understand yaoi and can’t fully appreciate it?
