Oh ok. I rarely use any browser features beyond bookmarks. Thats pretty much all I need from a browser. So I don’t explore the side bars and stuff.

There’s AI in Firefox? I’m running it as new as I can in Arch and have never seen a hint of it.
I don’t know what kind of insane person keeps giving them money. It reminds me of the 2000 tech bubble on steroids, giving money to companies who don’t even have a solid path to profitability.
I can’t wait for the bubble to pop and VC Money to dry up because the only thing keeping OpenAI from drowning in their hundreds of millions of dollars in losses are investors giving them money.
Can I just run this on my PC and not have it on a server? I’m running out of raspberry Pis.
There was also a famous ocean explorer on board they were using as a prop for their company. He’d done great work exploring shipwrecks previously and not a billionaire
Honestly, I think we need to just get rid of created feed algorithms. I think that is what makes social media so destructive compared to traditional chats
Does this include places like discord? Because lonely autistics who are bullied IRL like I was are gonna have a bad time.
They’re going to start killing left And right with Nosfernazu in charge
Short form video is the single best propaganda machine there is. You don’t get context, so it’s easy to manipulate events. Also, for some reason, people really fall for the “authority” of some rando talking into a camera like they know what the hell they’re talking about.
Every time somebody shows me a TikTok video as a reference or to make a point, the information is either fake or completely incorrect.
Not to mention, The algorithm feeds you more of these talking heads and makes you think it’s the general consensus
I’m glad I never installed that shitty app
Or it flags something as an error falsely and the human has so much faith in the system that it must be correct, and either wastes time finding the solution or bends reality to “correct” it in a human form of hallucinating bs. Especially dangerous if saying there is an error supports the individual’s personal beliefs
Edit:
I’ll call it “AI-induced confirmation bias” cousin to AI-induced psychosis.
