We live in Southern Ontario, and in this area, there "were" about 8 auto plants. They all boasted that one new car came off the assembly line every minute. Toyota does not build a car unless a customer already ordered it. That is a lot of extra cars on our highways, so in essence... people still like driving cars here.

At the time, Diesel envisioned that the agricultural communities (farmers) would produce their own fuel to burn in their tractors.
