I'm an idiot, what specifically is added by the descriptor "ready-made" in this context?
It's exceptionally reasonable, but if you look up to see zebras you're going to feel a bit silly, right? I don't really know what you're getting at, but only because I'm not seeing where specifically you engaged with anything I said
Excellent answer and example (Screw amazooon--they basically put a rent on books)
If you don't have to support terrible people and you knowingly do anyway, it's not going to be easy to make a discernment personally.
I think a lot of people haven't come to the awareness that there is NO such thing as ethical consumption under our current systems tho (and you can't boycott everything bad without causing a lot more worse stuff.)
but if that's the usual for non-trans too, do you think maybe the wrong excuses are being targeted? I really think the whole job structure itself needs a rework personally. The job hunt grind is debilitating emotionally tho--I fully understand the frustration/outrage it induces consistently
But if one asks a better question that more accurately presents what another is looking for, it's certainly better guidance than an answer to a nonsensical question, yeah? I know what they say about those who answer questions with questions, but I'm conventionally opposed to such 'wisdom'
When... When did they claim they were going to do that?
You have me curious to know more. I already know some Japanese from being a weeb, but could you explain what makes your example so difficult to type specifically? I only recognize one of the many symbols used
This has me really curious about the most obfuscated, ambiguous/difficult/problematic possible usernames both for security/privacy and interesting anomalies in general.
Feel like one could make a whole book on this -- please send any resources that could shed insight if possible

It's a sloppy rework of a Hegel quote--you have my most favorite lemmy comment prole
I really love the beauty of a prole calling a hegel quote the dumbest thing ever in any context.
But if you wanted a serious answer, yes--doesn't any modern worthwhile philosopher have to engage with Hegel's thought in some dimension?
