I get it but the joke in this scene is he brushed off help he needed because he's a big macho man who doesn't need help ever so the meme reads weird.

I haven't either but I've seen clips of this particular scene - including the ending.

His character is basically a jab at the "I'm a REAL man" mentality that leads men into trying to be fully independent & self-sufficient to the point of never asking for help, which this scene is about.
