They'd have to arrest most of the country.

Bluesky's quality cratered after the liberal exodus from twitter.

The anarchists from before that time were way cooler and actually respectable. You could have intelligent conversations with them.

The ones riding the Rachel Maddow blue wave are just the typical liberal who calls themselves an "anarchist" because they think anarchism is when you scream "Fuck the government!" into a microphone.

To play Devil's Advocate nobody has tried to kill Xi Jinping even once; let alone three times.

But then again that just further drives the point home, doesn't it?

Hard to tell the exact details but things in the West are going to get worse before they get better and it will probably be some time before that happens.

But as it stands the West's descent into fascism is going to accelerate its decline and creating a global geopolitical situation that is more suitable to an international communist movement.

Think the Interwar Period but more extreme. There is a possibility of another world war, but I don't think it will be as destructive as the last one.

An important early Marxist.

Though she disagreed with Lenin I believe had the Spartacist Uprising succeeded - or at the very least had survived it - she would have changed her mind on much of the disagreements she had with him and the Bolsheviks. She was an intelligent and dialectical woman and I think when confronted with trying to build a socialist state she'd realize Lenin was right about the vanguard party.

Sadly she was murdered while still in her prime, much like Gramsci and Guevara.

The only thing of mine capitalism truly made all on its own is my exploitation, alienation, poverty, and depression.

This has nothing to do with what I said, nor is it relevant to your original post.

What people vote for in their hearts & minds is completely irrelevant.

If you voted to deport people then you are indirectly responsible for what happens to them thereafter since it would not have happened if they hadn't been deported.

The obvious solution is to not to vote for deportation.

As a collective whole? Con artists who don't believe a word they preach.

As specific individuals? Varies; some are true believers that genuinely think they're abiding by the will of God, some are frauds who just tell people what they want to hear, some really believe but are ignorant hypocrites who can't see it.

The parties as parties are charlatans but the individual members of those parties are understandably far more diverse.

I love that they gave Hakim's Lenin self-insert the parrot hair cut he ranted about in one of the earlier episodes. Beautiful in-joke.

This is just a "progressive" rebrand of the old conservative line "we had to destroy the Aztecs to teach them to stop ritually sacrificing people".

Literally the exact same shit. Anything can be justified under this insane logic.
