"As revolutionaries, we don't have the right to say that we're tired of explaining. We must never stop explaining. We also know that when the people understand, they cannot but follow us. In any case, we, the people, have no enemies when it comes to peoples. Our only enemies are the imperialist regimes and organizations." Thomas Sankara, 1985

The same people telling you Maduro stole the election were saying Biden stole 2020. It's all consent manufacturing to sieze Venezuelan oil and colonize it.
It's recorded fact that he's barred his political opponents from taking part in elections against him, and made moves to remove the Venezuelan citizenship of others. It's widely regarded as the least democratic country in South America by a significant margin.
I've tried to link sources which would NOT be the same people saying Biden stole 2020.
The democracy in Venezuela is a sham. That doesn't mean the US should kidnap the President.
Bro, the us literally couped Venezuela multiple times. Go hear it from the mouth of John Bolton or Trump himself since they've both admitted it.
Those "opposition" members are foreign agents funded and controlled by the US. That Machado witch begged Israel to militarily invade Venezuela.
To be honest, Chavez and Maduro should have had them all shot. I would have. If anything Maduro is too kind to the "opposition".
What are you even talking about "widely regarded as the least democratic country in South America". Bro, have you heard of El Salvador?
But also, liberals cannot fathom any form of democracy beyond voting for the widest range of candidates possible. You all literally believe that Nazis and traitors being on the ballot is more democratic and nothing could be more democratic.
Newsflash, democracy means GOVERNING by the people. Did you know that 70% of elections in the USA are uncontested? Real fucking democratic.
Venezuela went through land reform and farm collectivization. There are widespread and large scale participatory structures throughout Venezuelan society from communes to citizen militias and many things in between.
Venezuela is considered undemocratic by the usual suspects, for all the usual cynical reasons. Nationalizing oil fields has always attracted claims of dictatorship. The US and UK overthrew Iran's elected leader for nationalizing their oil fields.
Stop parroting the bullshit and actually look into the situation with the knowledge that the entire Western world is engaged in a 25-year-long propaganda war against Venezuela.
It's entirely unsurprising that pro-imperialist Statesian and European institutions are claiming Venezuela is undemocratic because private capital can't freely plunder their oil. The democracy in Venezuela is legitimate, and perpetuating the idea that it isn't is legitimizing the imperialist narrative.
👆 That link is broken btw
A document from the freaking European parliament. Whose own sources to justify their "measure" of how democratic a country is are V-Dem, Freedom House, the CATO Institute and BTI Project. Only the highest quality ~~propaganda~~ unbiased sources I see.
Here's a crazy idea! How about you try getting information on how democratic a country is from the peoples living there instead of frecking EU politicians?
Your daily reminder that liberals only consider white people to matter
