Iran, Venezuela, Syria… I’m seeing a pattern here. Which allies of Russia remain?

Perhaps he wants to be the only one left so that Sempai will notice him.

Are you implying that ISIS is a Russian ally?

[–] deranger@sh.itjust.works 5 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

No. If Russia and Syria are allies why is the US bombing there? Probably because Russia can’t because their military is both broke and broken.

To be clear I’d prefer no military interventions at all, but if they’re going to happen, I can at least enjoy seeing Russia’s complete lack of response. It’s telling.

Russia was aligned with the old regime fighting ISIS and various Islamists offshoots. Russia isn't aligned with the current regime that was founded by people who lead ISIS at one point and other offshoots. The US is now aligned with these people, which isn't a that surprising considering they've always been fighting both sides.

Al Sharaa comes from Al Nusra, not ISIS. His coalition that overthrew Assad was backed by Turkey, while Assads backer Russia was 'occupied elsewhere'

Yes, I'm aware. I said offshoots. I know people who died there fighting these fucks, you're not teaching me anything.

aN was under alquaeda not isis.

Your original comment makes it sound as if it was an offshoot of isis to people who dont check.
