Unless I am reading this wrong the above has got a lot of "no one else worthy was killed in the holocaust" vibes

I remember seeing an article a while back about how 'never again' was meant to be for Jewish people only, and no, it wasn't by someone upset that genocide was happening again and was criticizing that it wasn't applying here; it was someone seriously arguing that it was solely meant for Jewish people.

It highlights the function of holocaust memorial is not for universal emancipation but to create an exception for zionist fascism (ie ongoing western imperialism and the crimes against humanity that comes with it).
