MAGA are the high-flying Globetrotters posterizing everyone on the court. The Democratic professional class — politicians, pundits, think tankers, and operatives — are the Washington Generals, paid a lot of money to be pantsed.

They needed a simple majority. They could have done with 2 less votes and still passed it.

but when they publicly announce they aren't going to whip votes for no, it does feel like the Dem leadership is tacitly supporting ICE.

Yeah Jeffries is big time fucking up. Needs to be primaried. But no one here is going to vote Democrat so no one here will primary him, right? Y'all know this is in November yeah?
