There is a systemic problem with our military industrial complex, and this guy was just a cog in that wheel thats been turning for damn near a hundred years now.
he chose to be a cog in a fascist army, getting paid to join an organisation that terrorizes countless countries and mass murders millions of people.
Don't give a fuck about you minimizing or rationalizing that.
Having a standing army isn't in itself a problem. You have to have an army to defend yourself from people who want your resources and territory. Yes, ours has become problematic, but you're just missing the point and being needlessly pedantic. If you're a real person, people like you are one of the reasons we cant all unite against the dickhead billionaires who are making our lives worse.
