this is, once again, poore-nemecek 2018 in new packaging. i wish we could get good science to tell us the best way to help the planet.

this is a strawman.
if i told you spinning in circles would help the planet, and i presented a study with dubious methodology, would you spend your time and energy spinning til you made yourself sick, or would you look for an actual solution?
It's no secret that meat/dairy has a huge carbon footprint, the concept of reducing your animal produce intake for the benefit of the environment is pretty well established. We should be looking to reduce our impact as individuals as well as a species where we can, via both immediate options for purchasing choices as well as quality research in to better ways to do so.
