And? Relic has always referred to things so ancient that you probably don't even know what they are. You understand humanity has existed for many thousands of years, right?

I lived on an out-of-the-way island that closed down around that time, so we all had to move away. A few years ago I saw a youtube video of someone visiting the place, and it was a real blast from the past. It was a ghost town, my childhood locked in time like amber. The drive-thru still advertising the kids toy that came with the meal I got so many years ago.

Very bizarre to think no one lives there now.
