This is a Dengist community in favor of Bashar al-Assad with no information that can lead to the arrest of Hillary Clinton, our fellow liberal and queen. This community is not ironic. We are Marxists-Leninists.

See this GitHub page for a collection of sources about socialism, imperialism, and other relevant topics.

This community is for posts about Marxism and geopolitics (including shitposts to some extent). Serious posts can be posted here or in /c/GenZhou. Reactionary or ultra-leftist cringe posts belong in /c/shitreactionariessay or /c/shitultrassay respectively.

We have a Matrix homeserver and a Matrix space. See this thread for more information. If you believe the server may be down, check the status on status.elara.ws.

I was raised in a evangelical church. I'm not against spiritualism in theory but under capitalism organized religion is just horrible. It stunted the growth of my class consciousness. Anyone who can see through the hypocrisy and lies of capitalism will see through the lies of hypocrisy of a religious organization but you don't start seeing the issues of capitalism until you've worked through all the problems with a religious upbringing. They fill your head with myth and theology so you don't fill your head with history and politics.

I'm sure under a socialist society where the church is organized around upholding community and uplifting the oppressed instead of around suppressing materialist analysis, something cool can exist I just haven't ever experienced it. Due to the work involved in destroying the false consciousness of "Christianity" I doubt I could go back into something similar.
