News like this always make me feel ashamed for how little I know about Africa and its countries.
I, a EU citizen, rant & complain about the USA and its fascist politics, while just as bad things are happening elsewhere.

The project 2025 assholes running the administration in the dotardship of the president is getting involved everywhere with their rw idealogy, they probably put someone up to it, maybe contributed intelligence. It's a pretty safe bet they had a hand in it even with knowing nothing more than the title.

It's because African countries don't have the military or economic power to threaten EU countries (or anyone besides their African neighbors). Your primary concerns are going to be about the things which threaten you.
