No, that was IE. Edge is decent enough browser for normies, equal to chrome.

You're not wrong. Edge is just Chromium with MS branding. It's not a bad browser like IE was.

Although if they do shit like this it will be.

Edge is nice at work because it works with all the apps we have that still expect IE rendering quirks.

I wouldn’t bother with it if you are at home.

Fair enough, let me rephrase that to "5 years ago, edge was decent enough". But so many big companies are ruining their product with AI these days. It s almost the status quo.
