"As revolutionaries, we don't have the right to say that we're tired of explaining. We must never stop explaining. We also know that when the people understand, they cannot but follow us. In any case, we, the people, have no enemies when it comes to peoples. Our only enemies are the imperialist regimes and organizations." Thomas Sankara, 1985

Can we tone down the anarchist bashing? It's getting to be really annoying.
I agree, we should tone it down. But in this case, it kind of seems likely that anarchists in US and Europe would vocally support that and end up being useful for imperialism.
There's already enough things that have happened to be angry at. Can we at least wait for this to happen before we start getting mad at it?
Anarchists glazing Kurds while they were actively fighting the axis of resistance, has already happened and it never stopped.
The majority of anarchists still think that opposition to Assad was more important than a united front against ISIS. They broke the united front against Franco is the Spanish civil war. It is what anarchists do.
So no. I don't think ignoring history to go easy on anarchists until they do what they always do is a good way to approach this.
Yup and we have banned users showing support for the kurd goons in syria before.
I consider it a very serious ideological difference and am sure many others do so too.
Rojava is an extremely simple litmus test for an actually principled ML and a larper. It dressed itself in progressive asthetic while materially only benifeting imperialism.
Anyone whose seen my comments/posts on Rojava/Kurdistan as a whole is likely aware of my... distaste for the project. So I'm happy that Grad takes such a staunch stance on those imperial bootlickers.
Ukw, fair point. All our hatred should be directed at US and Israel
But we should pride ourselves in the quality of hatred (jest aside there's a real practical reason for it - the science of anti-imperialism and not be led astray by blunting the edge against domestic revolution in the imperial cores or blunting the support of anti-imperialists fighting on the ground)
Yes, I agree
Yes and anarchists have sided with the US and Israel before, that's what the OP is referring to when they say "will the anarchoids glaze the kurds again?"

Can anyone recommend a screen reader, I'm lazy af 😭😭😭
Ask Deepseek how to set up Qwen TTS
If you get triggered by a small comment referencing the past support of anarchists towards SDF kurds, this is not your place comrade.
Also don't take it personally, i know anarchists are not a monolith as many others also do. When OP says anarchoids he is not talking about you. For example, Anarcho-bolshevik is a very respected and loved member of this community.
I'm not an anarchist, I'm just trying to promote some harmony
You gotta be trolling, you're promoting harmony by starting shit defending anarchists in a non-anarchist instance? F off that's literally wrecker behaviour.
I haven't defended anyone's actions. Sorry if my ignorance of past events has made it seem like I'm making excuses for people. I'm honestly not trying to cause trouble
An axiom from my general area: "Hit dog holler." Not always true, but often enough.
