I hate where we are right now. Krishnamoorthi was an immediate out on my ballot. So it came down to Juliana Stratton and Robin Kelly. Juliana Stratton is more likely and is mentioned in the article to be the opposition to Krishnamoorthi but there was no mention of her refusal to declare the Israeli actions as genocide. Robin Kelly was the only candidate in the debate to label their actions a genocide and has verified that she does not receive AIPAC money. Stratton stopped short of calling it what it is. Saying what's happening is terrible.....thanks Stratton, can you tell me what color I see when I'm standing in a corn field next?
But the trouble comes in the Democratic primary's single choice voting system. Krishnamoorthi is now using that to his advantage and using PACs to run ads in favor of Kelly to pull votes away from Stratton and boost his chances of getting the nomination. If the primary was run using ranked choice, I could have voted Kelly 1 and Stratton 2 to avoid this whole mess.
