I think they mean AM/FM and probably weather alerts.

AM, FM, NOAA Weather band plus Alert, Shortwave (2300 - 26100 kHz), VHF Aviation. I will dig it out and take a picture when I get home. I don't know shit about radios so maybe I am explaining it wrong.
