Reddit banned Paul McCartney over phone-free concert photos post in their subreddit
(piunikaweb.com)
This is a most excellent place for technology news and articles.
hopefully he moves to the threadiverse, though it is unlikely.
Mastodon would be a reasonable goal.
Why limit to one aspect? Mastodon (announcements) + Pixelfed (photos of the concerts) + Lemmy/PieFed (fan discussion) + PeerTube (videos of the concerts) + Loops (shorts about the concerts and announcements) + ...
Imagine the hundreds of fans that could be reached!
Why depend on someone else's mood when it's your business? Videos on Youtube, fanpage on Reddit or Facebook, short videos on TikTok, news on X, ... : they can pull the plug whenever they like.
With the Fediverse you can create a personal instance only for your business.
You kid but it literally starts this way. Imagine if someone like Paul McCartney says, "I'm moving over to mastodon and you should too."
He starts to share exclusive content there, sharing videos on loops...
People will stop going to other places.
But the content has to come first.
🤣
